On 6 June 1841 Andrew McGregor was living in the household of Euphemia Love in Milesmark, Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland, along with Catharine Cree, Mathew Cree, James Wilson and Hariot Wilson. Euphemia Wilson, as she is now called, appears to have been widowed a second time. She is now aged 50 (rounded figure) and a washerwoman. We have assumed that Mathew, aged 7, is actually Matthew McGregor, Catherine's son shown on the 1851 Census as aged 17.3

On 30 March 1851 Andrew McGregor was living in the household of Euphemia Love in Milesmark, Dunfermline, Fife, along with James Wilson and Hariot Wilson. Euphemia Wilson was aged 67 and her occupation was transcribed as "Fife Center Of Houses." Her chidren were James aged 29 and Herriot Wilson, 24. Her grandson Andrew McGregor was 17.4

On 2 April 1871 Hariot Wilson was living in the household of Euphemia Love in 5 Carnock Road, Inverkeithing, Fife, Scotland, along with Euphemia Forfar. Euphemia Wilson was now 85, her daughter Harriet Wilson was 38 and a farm labourer, while granddaugher Euphemia Forfar was 18 and a factory worker.5 When Euphemia Love died on 22 October 1872 in Milesmark, Dunfermline, Fife, Hariot Wilson was the informant.6,7

James Cree was born in 1857 or 1858 in Strathmiglo, Fife, Scotland.1 He was the son of John Cree and Margaret Miller.

On 2 April 1871 James Cree was living in the household of John Cree in Main Street, Gartside, Strathmiglo, Fife, Scotland, along with Christian Cree. John was aged 48 and a hand loom linen weaver. Cristian (sic) was his sister aged 50 and a housekeeper. John's son James was 13.2

James Cree married Catherine Lawson on 19 December 1877 in Auchtermuchty, Fife, Scotland.3

On 3 April 1881, James Cree was also known as James Crea.

On 3 April 1881 James Cree was living in 9 Sydney St, St John, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. He was a tailor, lodging with the family of William and Margaret Doig Reid.4

On 5 April 1891 James Cree was living in the household of John Cree in Back Close, Strathmiglo, Fife, Scotland, along with Christian Cree. John was aged 65 and a hand loom jute weaver. His sister Christian's occupation has been transcribed as "Pirn Winder Housekeeper" and she was 62. John's son James was 31 and a tailor.5

James Cree was a tailor.

James Cree died on 22 September 1893 in Back Close, Strathmiglo, Fife. The informant was John Cree.6
