Duncan Moon

Male, CreeID#2450
ChartsLine 12. The Methven line of Alexander Cree
Duncan Moon married Katherine Cree, daughter of David Cree and Margaret Cowan, on 27 November 1776 in Blair Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland.

In 1778 Duncan Moon was living in Balnuaran, Blair Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland. A Duncan Moon is shown in Atholl estate records as one of three tenants of Balnuaran in 1725, 1760 and 1778, but not in 1735, 1742 or 1751. Clearly the 1725 date, and possibly others are likely to refer to a father. In 1751 he was a tenant of another farmtoun, Drumnacreech.1
